 Winter noise
==============

The calendar winter is over, so it is the time to wrap it up, and
compare to the summer noise.

Dogs were still there, smaller children were jumping indoors instead
of screaming outdoors (which is actually somewhat worse), a bit older
kids and apartment renters were into loud music during daytime (though
apparently got tired of that or ceased to turn it on as loudly for
some other reason by the end of the winter) and occasional loud
stairwell chatter at night (and I've turned into a person who asks for
silence).

So it still was tricky to sleep well at any time, but on the bright
side, there was not as much noise (except for dogs) coming from the
street. Yet quite surprisingly, it seems that some of the night street
noises resumed just as the calendar winter ended.

In other news, this winter was quite rich in plumbing and voltage
issues for me, as well as similar stuff that required contractors, and
issues with contractors. But yay, now that it (well, the winter, not
quite the issues) is over, it is one less season to live through.

I have a bit of better/fun news as well, which I would like to write
down separately, and perhaps will try to stop writing mostly rants
here.
